It’s important to know status of filing, dependents, and or income estimates to really help someone. I’m mid the 22% say 150K with My wife and kids currently owe 3k and reading your post I don’t see how we don’t owe more. I will start claiming 0 my wife does now on one job not the other so we both made mistakes! I hope this comment helps someone like reading others helped me figure more out about taxes than I currently knew.

I currently work 3 jobs so this is good to know. Your tips will definitely help me get ready for tax season.

I really have no way to tell you that. It depends on how much you make from each job. To find out you might want to seek out a tax professional or accountant.

Yes it would – you are correct. If you are currently claiming zero and still have to pay in, I would set money aside for that payment each year. You could put it in an interest-bearing savings account so YOU are earning the interest on your money instead of the government. It may not gain you much, but it’s still money in your pocket instead of theirs.

Wouldn’t claiming more than 0 in my main job cause me to owe more?

are you claiming Married or single? Single 00 is the max to be deducted from your paychecks.

You probably need to talk to an accountant in your state to determine for sure how you should file!
